Comparative shots: week 38

The weeks are winding down, and this mama is tuckered out. If I make it to week 39 there won't be a picture with Sawyer because he was born a week early--cross fingers! chant mantras! give offerings! Here he is, a week away from making his grand appearance:

Comparative shots: week 34

I have been really bad about the belly photographing, but thankfully, since we've been on vacation, other people have gotten shots that will do the trick in a pinch. Here's the wee Sawyer Francis in utero at week 34:























And here's a random beach shot that Uncle Steve caught during our trip to Outer Banks, NC, smack dab in the middle of week 34. I hope Carrie will forgive me for putting a picture of her in a swimsuit on my blog for all to see--but doesn't she look adorable?! These cousins are going to be PALS.

Long overdue comparative shot: week 30

It happened first with Sawyer: photographic silence between weeks 23 and 30. So I guess it was bound to happen with number two. Without further ado then, here is the comparative belly progress.

Sawyer Francis vicariously visiting the construction site that before too long would be our new house. I think I’m standing in Chris’ office.

And here I am in his office again, heavy with child. 30 weeks down 10 to go! Though maybe if I’m lucky I’ll be delivered from evil early, like I was with Sawyer.

Week 23 Comparative shots

 

Oh, that flattering swimsuit model angle. Here’s Sawyer, looking ever so diminutive at 23 weeks.

And….BABY BOY #2 at 23 weeks. Yup, encore un autre gars. Shoot, now we have to think of a name. Boy names are hard.

Week 21 Comparative Shots

The weeks are flyin’ by now! I wish that were true, but it is once again time for the belly comparison shots, so here goes--

Once again it’s time to take a look at the belly progress. Here’s the 17-week shot with a fetus named Sawyer Francis

 

And here is Reginald Montgomery III. Hmm, still looks pretty much the same. Maybe I should stop taking these new pictures at 9 o’clock in the morning when I’m at my pregnant sveltest…

Comparative shots

Though this is unrelated to food, I thought it would be fun to keep track of the belly growth in relation to my first pregnancy. I started both at the same weight, but it sure seems like this one is popping out faster!

This is the 15-week shot with Sawyer.

 

And here’s the 15-week shot with unknown #2. Ok, so I guess they look pretty much the same, and I’m really shocked. We’ll see if the correlation continues.
